The Pink Signal: Terms of Use and Disclaimer

Effective 9/09/2026

About this publication

The Pink Signal is a free quarterly publication of The Flamingo Project, LLC. Each issue reports market signals across AEC sectors and regions, and offers The Flamingo Project’s reading of what those signals mean for firms working in those markets. The publication is general market commentary written for a broad audience of AEC firm leaders. It is not prepared for any single firm, and it is not tailored to any firm’s circumstances, pipeline, or position.

How these terms work

These terms cover The Pink Signal. The Website Terms of Use at theflamingoproject.com/terms cover everything The Flamingo Project publishes, and they apply to every issue of The Pink Signal, including their sections on accuracy and warranties, limitation of liability, trademarks, links to other sites, changes, and governing law. Where a term below addresses the same subject as a term in the Website Terms of Use, the term below governs for The Pink Signal. Your subscription is also subject to the Privacy Policy at theflamingoproject.com/privacy-policy, which describes what the intake form collects and how that information is used.

No professional advice

The Pink Signal is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing in it is legal, financial, investment, accounting, tax, engineering, architectural, or other professional advice, and nothing in it creates a consulting, advisory, or fiduciary relationship between you and The Flamingo Project, LLC. Consult qualified professionals about your own situation before you act.

No reliance

Your business decisions are yours. Before you enter a market, price a pursuit, commit staff, or take any other action, verify the underlying facts against primary sources and apply your own judgment and due diligence. The Flamingo Project, LLC makes no representation that any signal, sector read, or interpretation in an issue holds true for your firm, your region, or your project pipeline.

Forward-looking statements

Issues carry forecasts, outlooks, projections, and other forward-looking statements. Those statements rest on assumptions about conditions that change, including funding availability, procurement timing, material costs, labor supply, interest rates, policy, and regulation. Results will differ from any forecast, and they may differ materially. No forward-looking statement in The Pink Signal is a guarantee, a prediction, or a promise of any outcome.

Third-party data and sources

Issues draw on public and licensed third-party material, including government data, industry reports, procurement records, and published news. The Flamingo Project, LLC cites those sources so readers can review them, and makes no warranty as to their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose. A publisher may revise, restate, or withdraw its data after an issue publishes. A reference to a source, firm, agency, project, program, or product is not an endorsement.

Use of artificial intelligence

The Flamingo Project, LLC uses artificial intelligence tools to help gather, aggregate, organize, and summarize the source material behind each issue. Those tools support the research. They do not replace it, and they do not decide what an issue says. Every issue passes human review before it publishes, and the analysis and conclusions are The Flamingo Project’s own.

AI systems can misread a source, drop context, or state something inaccurate with apparent confidence, and an error of that kind can survive review. Read every figure and claim in an issue as subject to the accuracy and liability terms below, and verify any figure you plan to act on against the cited source.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The Pink Signal is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The accuracy and no warranty section and the limitation of liability section of the Website Terms of Use apply in full to The Pink Signal, to every issue, and to everything an issue contains, including any figure or summary produced with AI-assisted research.

Intellectual property and permitted use

The Pink Signal, including its text, charts, graphics, name, and logo, belongs to The Flamingo Project, LLC and is protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may:

  • forward a complete, unaltered issue to colleagues inside your firm, with attribution;

  • use an issue or its content to train a machine learning model or to build a competing dataset.

No client relationship and no confidentiality

Information you send through the intake form, by email, or in a comment is not confidential and is not covered by any privilege. A client engagement with The Flamingo Project, LLC begins only under a signed written agreement.

Subscribing and your information

The email edition is delivered through a short intake form. The Privacy Policy at theflamingoproject.com/privacy-policy describes what the form collects, how The Flamingo Project, LLC stores and uses that information, and the service providers it is shared with. The Flamingo Project, LLC does not sell or rent subscriber information. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you may write to sarah@theflamingoproject.com to ask that your information be corrected or removed.

LinkedIn subscribers

The Pink Signal also publishes as a LinkedIn newsletter from The Flamingo Project company page. LinkedIn manages those subscriptions under its own terms and privacy policy, and The Flamingo Project, LLC collects no subscriber information through that channel.
